Outdoor Active currently have 184 cycle routes in Worcestershire so there are plenty of options for outdoor activities and for those who want to plan a cycling holiday. In total there are 143 bike rides and 41 mountain biking trails which are waiting to be explored.

The members of the Wyre Forest Cycle Forum have produced a range of leaflets, funded by Wyre Forest District Council, featuring short leisure cycle rides available in the local area.

The cycle route begins at Clive’s Fruit Farm where parking is permitted (and provides a good opportunity to fill up on water and snacks for the ride). From there you can head west or north along this circular cycling route. The largely flat scenic route includes some places to stop and rest.

Worcestershire’s Vale and Spa offers cyclists a rich variety of cycling routes and terrain, ranging from the canal banks around Droitwich Spa to the teasing hills around Broadway and Bredon Hill. In between you have the beautiful Vale of Evesham offering relatively flat routes through verdant countryside, following the River Avon through Evesham and Pershore to its confluence with the River Severn at Tewkesbury.

The district is crossed by four National Cycle Network routes – (41, 45, 46, 442) which provide cycle tourists with well signed scenic routes through Worcestershire’s Vale and Spa. The district includes hundreds of miles of quiet country lanes linking picture postcard villages and set in stunning scenery, where hidden architectural and rural treasures may be found.

The area is perfect for a cycling holiday which is also well served with cosy country pubs and cycle friendly cafes, so cyclists can be sure of being well fed and watered.

With steep climbs and views across Herefordshire and Worcestershire the Hills are an exciting place to cycle both on road and off road.

Cyclists are welcome to explore the Malvern Hills and Commons on the bridleways that cross this landscape. With over 56km of bridleways there are hilltops, wooded slopes and open commons to get to know.

Malverns by Mountain Bike is a campaign by the Malvern Hills Trust and local mountain bikers. The aim of this project is to encourage responsible mountain biking on the Malvern Hills and Commons so cyclists can enjoy and experience this landscape in a way that protects this special place for the future.

There are three signposted cycling trails that take in both the open hilltops offering stunning views and the scenic wooded slopes of this iconic landscape.

The cycling routes range from 5.6km to 19km and have been provided to help cyclists find their way around the bridleway and permissive cycle paths of the Malvern Hills Trust.
