Civil War at Berkeley Castle

It is 1642 and England is divided between supporters of his Majesty King Charles 1 and of the rights of the people and Parliament. At Berkeley Castle local people are being recruited (some less enthusiastically than others!) and trained to join the Garrison.

Horse & Foot will go through their paces in exciting arena displays, whilst families can enjoy period music, have-a-go dancing, and join in with children’s activities.

Featuring The Wardour Garrison, Deverauxs Regiment and The Troop, this event promises to be action-packed, exciting and fun for all the family.
