Cotswold Olimpick Games

Robert Dover’s Cotswold Olimpick Games is a unique continuation of early rural sporting events, combining informal, amateur sports for competitors, the majority of whom register on the night of the Games, together with general entertainment and activities for visitors of all ages.

The games become increasingly more expensive to run year in, year out. As well as the kind volunteers that enable the games to go forward with the donation of their time, we fundraise and raise sponsorship.

The gates open at 4pm, with the games kicking-off at 7pm. The torch procession and awards ceremonies run at various times across the evening. A true spectacle to behold and all can take part in the torch procession, we leave Dovers Hill and make our way back to Chipping Campden, come and get involved with us.

From marching bands, folk, medieval song, bagpipes and funk – we’ve curated many live music offerings previously and this year will be no different.

Traditional British Fayre and other culinary choices are on offer on Dover’s Hill, and when you return to Chipping Campden. Please note, no alcohol is permitted to be consumed on Dovers Hill, it will be on offer on your return to Chipping Campden.
