Fire cooking and smoking becomes even more exciting when using different fuels such as charcoal and wood types.
Add to that the exciting flavours from marinades, rubs and flavoured salts
Join us at Harts Barn Cookery School for our Cooking by Fire and Smoke classes all year round.
Our classes will be seasonal and take place come rain or shine.
We will instruct you in setting up and lighting a fire pit, a clay oven and many different types of BBQs and smokers, using charcoal and wood from the Forest of Dean and Herefordshire.
As the class is seasonal the menu and items cooked on the class will vary. We have had smoked feta, made rubs, cooked mutton joints, BBQ vegetable selection, jointed chickens, made lamb kebabs, stuffed flatbread, made a whole Christmas feast and so much more.
The class is very much a hands on class.
Once cooked we will then join in a feast around the fire and partake in delicious flavours.
