Please come along and support a really funny and very well-acted production, performed by local Amateur Theatre group – the Crown Players. Based in the beautiful Kings Theatre, all actors, directors, backstage crew and front of house staff are volunteers who work hard to keep this lovely theatre running and to keep the magic of theatre alive.

Synopsis

Membership of the Little Grimley local amateur drama society has dwindled to four, the audiences aren’t much bigger and the rent money is due. It’s time for dramatic action! ”There’s only one thing that sells tickets these days,” declares Gordon, the Chairman – “Sex!” But how will the locals react to the promise of a sizzling farce? All is revealed in David Tristram’s hilarious comedy of an Am-Dram society in trouble – ‘Last Tango in Little Grimley’…

Then, following their previous show, the Little Grimley Amateur Dramatic Society move to a new level of chaos with ‘Last Panto in Little Grimley’, which sees Gordon, Margaret, Joyce and Bernard tackle the Christmas pantomime with predictably hilarious results.
