Through The Lens A Gardener’s Photographic Journey

Through the lens: a gardener’s photographic journey has been created by Hidcote’s Assistant Head Gardener and National Trust photographer, Sarah Davis.

The exhibition features a collection of Sarah’s favourite photos captured over the last several years, showcasing the garden through the seasons, colourful plants and the people who help to care for it.

“The garden at Hidcote is endlessly inspiring, and photographing it brings me a huge amount of pleasure. I have favourite views I return to capture in different seasons and the huge diversity of plants enables me to photograph something beautiful almost weekly.

As a senior member of the garden team, photographing the flowers and vistas enables me to look at the garden with fresh eyes. Not just those of someone who is looking at the endless jobs that are needed to be done!”
