Abbey Home Farm

Abbey Home Farm offers lots of different ways to stay on the farm. We look forward to welcoming you at Abbey Home Farm whether you choose a tent, a yurt, the hut, the shepherds hut or the lovely holiday cottage. The shop and cafe are open on Sundays so you can enjoy a homegrown Sunday lunch and/or a good browse in the shop as well as long walks on the farm or sightseeing around Cirencester. Bring/come on your own bikes or hire them locally – its not too hilly here!

Lower Wiggold Cottage
Lower Wiggold cottage is a two bedroom old cotswold stone semi detached cottage in the depths of the farm far from the hustle and the bustle. It is a perfect place for people who love the countryside and good food. Sleeps 4 and a half!

Hut by the Pond
A magical spot at the waters edge surrounded by trees. Sleeps 2 maximum (adults only.) Woodburner, gas ring, outside fireplace, table and 2 chairs, double mattress(no bedding) and cooking utensils provided also water and firewood. Just bring bedding, nightlights and torch.

Shepherds Hut
This spacious shepherds hut sits beside Wiggold wood and its ancient oaks. Big bed and cosy woodburner. 15 minutes walk down the old railway line track to the farm shop and cafe. Fully equipped with gas ring, and everything you need for cooking, utensils, pots and pans and crockery. Southfacing outside fire place with fab view across the fields.

4 Yurt Eco-Camp (Easter to October)
On the edge of a wood with lovely views. Suitable for holidays, friends/family gatherings, sleep overs with a difference, outdoor residential workshops, retreats. All cooking utensils and mattresses provided. Outside fireplace, gas ring and a wood burner in the larger yurt for rainy times. Sleeps 18 comfortably (maximum number for day or night visitors). Compost loos, foot pump and bucket shower. Just bring bedding, torches and nightlight.

The Single Yurt
We have a single Yurt for hire from Easter to October. It is in a secret woodland glade about 20 minutes walk from the farm shop. It is rentable for up to 5 people, is equipped with mattresses, gas ring with cooking utensils and an outside fireplace. There is a certain amount of firewood and water provided. Just bring bedding, nightlights and torch.

Magical Open Glade (Easter to October)
This is secret spot in deer’s choice wood (planted in 1991) near the stone circle.

Greenfield Campsite
Spacious site with a beautiful view for campers with tents. No vehicles on the field so kids can run around and around and around. We don’t take bookings in advance and please don’t come out of shop hours as there is nobody to show you where to go. Our new site is informal without marked pitches, there is a car parking space next to the front field with no vehicles on site, making it a lovely big vehicle free area for families to feel safe letting their children run around. There will be a small amount of pitches behind this field for camper vans and people who would like their cars next to them.

Small Campsite for Special Occasions
We have a small field space available for family gatherings. We have a maximum capacity of 50 people inclusive of children staying on site, with very limited car parking space. Please note if booking this field there would be the additional cost of the shepherds hut which is sited there! and sleeps two adults.

The lane to this field is not suited for lots of traffic going backwards and forwards so is not suitable for lots of day visitors, but is great for a camping event. Amplified music by arrangement only with a curfew of midnight. Please note this is not a party venue.
