Cafe 53 is a popular, licensed garden cafe serving freshly prepared breakfasts, lunches, homemade cakes and the finest coffee around, seven days a week.

A hidden gem of Tetbury, our subtle doorway entrance on Long Street, leads to a light and airy dining area over looking our mediterranean style water garden, with additional seating outside. We serve freshly prepared breakfasts, locally sourced lunches, from sandwiches and paninis, to our signature steak burger and daily seasonal specials. Accompany your lunch with a glass of wine or beer, a local or freshly squeezed juice, smoothie, or a cup of our delicious coffee, while of course leaving room for a slice of our home made cake selection.

We come highly recommended and are a popular destination for tours before or after visits to local attractions such as Highgrove House, Westonbirt Arboretum, The Highgrove Shop (also on Long Street) and the large cluster of antique shops that Tetbury is famous for.

We also open our doors late night, on the last Thursday of every month for our open mic & jam night – The Jam Jar. Each month we create a specially selected menu and find the perfect tipple to accompany it with cocktails, wines & beers. We also have the pleasure of live music hosted by UK number 1 singer-songwriter Josh Kumra, who invites anyone wiling to show off their talents up to perform for our welcoming audience.
