Temple Guiting Manor

Our exquisite and historic Cotswold stone buildings have been lovingly restored by owner Steven Collins to create a home from home but with all the available services of a boutique hotel if desired.

Every building offers a different style combining Cotswold elegance in the Manor, Provencal Chic in the Barn and industrial edgy interiors in the Granary. Combine this with breath-taking design inspired gardens and Temple Guiting Estate offers a truly quintessential retreat to share with friends, family and colleagues.

Set in approximately 14.5 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds and sleeping up to 34 adults plus 2 children, our Estate consists of the stunning five-bedroom 15th century Manor House, steeped in English history; a luxuriously converted five-bedroom barn, a newly launched three-bedroom Granary and two idyllic one-bedroom hideaways perfect for party overspills; the self-contained Cow Byre and the Grade I listed Peacock Shed.

Facilities on-site include an all-weather astro-turf tennis court, an outdoor heated pool available to barn and exclusive use guests, a hot tub at the Manor and Barn, table tennis, table football, full cinema with XBox & Sky.

The large walled gardens hide a beautiful long water feature overlooking the River Windrush, gentle rolling fields and the Manor’s small lake. We also have our stylish shop & cafe, Temple Guiting Pantry which is just a two-minute walk away in the heart of the village, providing delicious artisan coffee, breakfasts, lunches and a range of beautiful hand-picked homewares, gifts, wines and much more.

Each house is beautifully furnished with artworks & antiques from around the globe complimented by home comforts of luxury bed linen, towels and robes, bathroom amenities from LA Bruket, Sweden, Dyson Hairdryers & air con, tableware from Sophie Conran and a bottle of Champagne on arrival.

Our main houses also provide you with all the modern day technology of fibre optic broadband, state of the art ipad music systems, Sky TV, DVDs, Xbox, as well as a range of traditional board games and books to enjoy.

We also offer full or partial catering and a host of extra services to ensure your stay with us is as relaxing, memorable and hassle-free.

Cots and highchairs are available on request and subject to availability.

A highlight of any stay at Temple Guiting Manor & Barns is its exceptional gardens.

The gardens were designed by Jinny Blom, the landscape gardener who was chosen by The Prince of Wales to design the “Healing Garden” at the 2002 Chelsea Flower Show, which won the Royal Horticultural Society’s Silver Medal.

Guests have access to an abundance of beautiful flowers, shrubs, herbs and vegetables on show in the gardens, free to explore during their stay. The perfect spot to unwind on a warm day, our gardens are the ideal vantage point from which to take in the views of the surrounding Cotswold countryside.

Our Head Gardener, Marion Jones is also often available to answer any questions from budding horticulturalists.

The Barn – Sleeps 10
With its five themed suites, including the elegant Gold Bedroom; exotic African Bedroom and soft Pink Bedroom, the barn blends contemporary style and amenities with traditional Cotswold charm. The spacious, quirky reception rooms decorated with vintage artefacts spill out onto a stunning patio garden with private hot tub, creating an ideal social area for families and friends to unwind and enjoy the beautiful scenery that surrounds.

The Granary – Sleeps 6
The Granary is the latest barn conversion to join our property collection on the Estate. Housing industrial-cool interiors with bespoke contemporary artwork, modern facilities and individually-designed bedrooms, its the perfect escape for families or smaller groups wishing to add a couple more guests to one of our main houses.

Cow Byre – Sleeps 2
A beautifully converted former cow shed, the Cow Byre is a cosy, contemporary space for those looking for a secret hideaway. The original stone walls and exposed wooden beams are perfectly complemented by the modern, open-plan kitchen and living area leading out to a quaint private garden.

This creates the ideal space for romantic dinners; or an alfresco breakfast in the morning sun.

Peacock Shed – Sleeps 2
This unique, light-filled cottage overlooking a private garden is ideal for couples and newly-weds as we are licensed to hold relaxed civil ceremonies in our beautiful Peacock Garden under the rustic Peacock Shed.

Housing a luxuriously styled king size bedroom with original beams and chandelier, this exquisite space exudes a warm atmosphere with traditional furnishings and wood trimmings.
