The Cotswold Way - A Magical Long Distance Trail & Fantastic Views

Extending from the quintessentially English market town of Chipping Campden to the Roman city of Bath, the 102 mile (164 km) Cotswold Way has existed as a promoted long-distance walk.

You will explore ancient commons in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, pass Neolithic burial barrows, stately homes, gardens, and historic battle sites. The stunning path along the Cotswold escarpment offers ever-changing views to the west towards the River Severn and the Malvern Hills.

Typically, those trekking the Cotswold Way from start to finish complete the journey in approximately 7 to 8 days. This itinerary allows for an average daily walking distance of around 13 to 14 miles. While it still presents a challenge for individuals with moderate fitness levels, it ensures a more manageable pace with shorter daily walks, providing a bit of flexibility in your schedule.
