What's On At Berrington Hall
The National Trust's Berrington Hall is a country house and landscape garden, parkland and lake located in Herefordshire. Throughout the year they open their doors and gardens for locals and visitors to explore.
Built in 1778-81 for the son of the 3rd Earl of Oxford, and is one of the few masterpieces of the architect Henry Holland to survive intact. The interiors are characteristic of Holland’s refined Louis XVI manner and the house is set amidst a park with an artificial 14-acre lake laid out by the landscape designer ‘Capability Brown’, who was also Holland’s business partner and father-in-law.
