What’s On At The Waterworks Museum Hereford

The Waterworks Museum houses some of the oldest working steam pumping engines in Herefordshire. Bring your children along and follow the history of drinking water from the cave-dwellers to the present day using fantastic working engines, impressive display panels, and informative guide literature.

The exhibition area features displays positioned at a low level for the enjoyment of everyone. Experience audio-visual presentations and hands-on exhibits that you can pick up, touch, and use.

Explore the Noel Meeke Heritage Water Park and take in the expansive landscape. Here, both children and adults can engage with life-size devices used for lifting, pumping, moving, and filtering water across generations. In this completely safe environment, children can have immense fun while simultaneously learning about the challenges of obtaining water in days gone by.
