Coddington Vineyard

Coddington Vineyard grow three grape varieties and produce single variety wines from them, including our award winning and very popular Bacchus. On a south facing slope, our mature vines absorb the warmth of the sunshine late into the autumn.

This allows the grapes to ripen slowly, important in the production of our delicate, floral, aromatic English wines. We grow three grape varieties; Bacchus and Ortega are developed in Germany for a cool climate, and are partly of Riesling stock. The third is Pinot Gris, a French grape.

You can stay on our Herefordshire vineyard in a Grade II listed self-catering cottage, once a hop drying barn. We have a two bedroom holiday cottage to rent for breaks of between 2 and 21 nights.

The Lodge offers Eco friendly accommodation for 2 people benefiting from open plan design and thermally efficient materials while offering superb luxury for short stays.

Combine a stroll through the vines with a visit to our shop. Arrange a Garden and Vineyard Tour during the summer months. Local produce shop on Herefordshire vineyard. Light lunches or teas/coffee available for small parties.
