This sweetest of Hay-on-Wye accommodation is in a gorgeous cobbled courtyard, where you can spend your evenings drinking wine outside as the sun sets and the birds chirp all around you. Or you can snuggle-up in front of a wood-burning stove, before retiring to a bed to-die-for!
Hay On Wye
Visit Hay On Wye a pretty town set in magnificent countryside on the east bank of the River Wye. Hay is at the northernmost point of the Brecon Beacons National Park and is bounded by the Black Mountains to the west and south. Hay developed as an important stopover on the coaching route, with dozens of inns and pubs.
It is an international destination for bibliophiles, with over twenty fascinating bookshops to browse, many selling specialist and collectable books. There are also many boutique shops and so much to be discovered, for example what must be one of the most luxurious small cinemas in the country!
