Laser Clayz Shooting is an activity that can be enjoyed by everyone whatever their age or ability. It is a hi-tec electronic version of the country sport of Clay Pigeon Shooting with each player using a modified shotgun to fire an infrared beam at real clays launched from a real clay trap.
Why choose to do Laser Clayz?
It is a safe, fun and highly competitive activity and is suitable for all ages or abilities. There is no kick-back from the guns, no loud noises and no electricity needed.
Who are we?
We are a family run business situated in Ewyas Harold in Herefordshire surrounded by the picturesque countryside of the Golden Valley. We are close to the Welsh border so we are also ideal for those coming from Abergavenny or South Wales.
What is the minimum age?
We can accommodate any age from 10 to 107. Please be aware that the guns are quite heavy so younger ones may struggle with the weight.
How many can play?
Laser Clay Shooting is an ideal activity for groups of any size, the system works best for groups of 8 people upwards but its still great fun for groups of 6 or more.
Is your place suitable?
Please make sure you have a wide, clear outdoor area as we require an area of 50 metres long by 25 metres wide (size of 2 tennis courts) to run the shoot from. Make sure you have the land owners permission
Why come to you?
Our laser clay system is easily transported, so there is no problem with us coming to wherever you are. Ideal for family gatherings, corporate events, birthday parties or for groups staying in holiday accommodation looking to try something new.
Visit Golden Valley as it winds its way sheltered between the Black Mountains and the banks of the River Dore. With Hay-on-Wye a close neighbour to the village of Dorstone, the valley winds down through Peterchurch, Vowchurch and Abbey Dore to Ewyas Harold at the south of the Golden Valley. These time-forgotten villages are set in some of the most untouched Herefordshire countryside you could ever hope to see.
