The Moody Cow is the perfect place to relax and enjoy superb food, drinks, and hospitality in the pretty village of Upton Bishop. Just minutes from junction 4 of the M50 we are also very accessible, and are situated only two miles from the historic market town of Ross on Wye in the beautiful Wye Valley. We have created a warm and friendly atmosphere whether you are dining, celebrating a special occasion, just treating yourself or popping in for a drink or coffee.

Our Food
Tom Piper, Head of our kitchen at the Moody Cow has been instrumental in creating innovative dishes that consistently get fantastic reviews from our guests.

All our dishes are cooked from scratch with passion and care using an abundance of fresh local ingredients, some of which are even from our own garden. Our menu is refreshed daily and we have been awarded a certificate of excellence six years running by the TripAdvisor community, and a coveted listing in the 2015, 2016 and 2017 and 2018 Michelin guide.

We have also been awarded a maximum 5 star food hygiene rating by the Food Standards Agency.

Our Drinks
Our selection of cask ales are kept in superb condition, and will always feature a locally brewed beer. As well as our popular ales, we stock a range of continental lagers and local ciders. If you are driving we have created a super non alcoholic cocktail and a couple of fantastic almost alcohol free bottled beers.

Our wine list is carefully selected to include new world favourites and some stunning locally produced wines.
