Racquety Farm

Racquety Farm has a picture postcard view of Hay-on-Wye where we offer Bed & Breakfast, Glamping and Camping accommodation. Land hire for events, fishing, canoeing and more. We would love you to come and enjoy our surroundings.

The Farm is a Soil Association certificated organic farm comprised of arable pasture, orchards and woodland.

Hay-on-Wye is a stones throw away. We have private access to the river with exclusive rights for game and coarse fishing and a canoe launch/landing point. Our river bank is an SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest).

Our home-made Geodomes are all lovingly hand-crafted by Geoff here on the farm. They are available to hire and buy! Domes will sleep from 2 – 8 persons. We provide a carpeted, furnished geodome with fresh cotton sheets and a log burner to name but a few luxuries.

An evening meal can usually be arranged, as can packed lunches for days out in the hills. Heating and cooking is mainly wood fired at Racquety Lodge. The house has a PV solar array.

Set in a large private garden on an organic farm 5-10 minutes walk from Hay-on-Wye town centre this house makes an ideal holiday location for family gatherings or holidays. However the house is compact enough to feel cosy for as few as 2 people too!

Designed to make the best use of the wonderful views of its unique location on a former tennis court, Racquety Lodge offers a chance to stay in a truly unique house. There are 3 double bedrooms which can sleep 1 or 2 extra people. The rooms can be used as family rooms or make comfortable sleeping for friends.
