The Rhydspence Inn is situated in the heart of the idyllic Wye Valley and on the border of the Brecon Beacons National Park, as well as Hay on Wye being only 3 miles away. Being so close to so many attractions means we have plenty of outdoor activities at our doorstep to keep you entertained for a days.
Enjoy a drink in one of our old bars, soaking up the atmosphere that has greeted travellers for over 600 years. Warm yourselves, if needed, by the log fire. We stock locally brewed real ales, cider and lager (not something you find everyday). We have an extensive wine list as well as some bin-end options to suit all tastes.
Our Restaurant is open to both residents and non-residents. Booking is necessary for weekends and during peak season. Our kitchen produces classic British cuisine using as much local produce as possible. We also have a specials board which is updated weekly.
The garden is a great place to eat in, weather permitting! With stunning views across the Wye Valley, sitting right on the English/Welsh border.
The Rhydspence has 7 guest rooms spanning the different ages of the building. Each room offers its own unique style, including a four poster bed in the 14th century original hall, a 17th century stone walled suite and our largest room with panoramic views on 3 sides looking across the Wye Valley.
