The Rose and Lion is definitely a pub worth visiting, with its pretty beer garden and cosy interior, it quickly feels like home.
In fact, according to a recent CAMRA guide, it sets the standard for the town’s pubs, which is in no small part down to Landlord Antony and his friendly team, who always give a warm welcome.
