Saracens Head Inn
Saracens Head Inn
The Saracens Head Inn offers riverside bed and breakfast accommodation, and award winning food, with a traditional pub feel.
The Inn has stood for centuries in a spectacular position on the east bank of the River Wye, where the river flows into a steep wooded gorge, on the edge of the Forest of Dean, in Symonds Yat East.
We have nine Bed and Breakfast rooms, most of which overlook the glorious River Wye.
Symonds Yat East lies between Ross on Wye and Monmouth and The Wye Valley Walk meanders past our door. This family run Inn is popular with walkers, cyclists, canoeists, fishermen and fans of good food and real ales.
The Saracens Head Inn is an ideal place to stay to discover The Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains, The Welsh Marches, and the Valleys of South Wales.
We are within seven miles of the small market towns of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth. Abergavenny and the Cathedral cities of Hereford and Gloucester are also a 30 minute drive away, with Cardiff and Bristol both being accessible within an hour.
We serve a wide variety of dishes that change from season-to-season from our lunch menu, dinner menu and daily specials board served in our restaurant.
Sandwiches and filled organic baguettes are also served during lunchtimes.
