The Butchers Arms, a traditional timbered country pub serving fine food in the beautiful village of Woolhope.

On our menu you will find fresh, local, seasonal ingredients, combined to create some old pub food favourites but also a few surprises.
Freshly prepared by Phil and his team, we offer light bites alongside our lunch and dinner menus, plus a traditional Sunday lunch. Our changing Specials Board features the best in season from select local suppliers.

Evening dinning
Second time round again to this establishment, and yet again superb food and very generous portions ,can’t fault this place ,give it a go you will not be disappointed, staff very freindly welcoming, this a place myself and freinds will be returning many more times
Brilliant lunch
We came across this pub by chance on a walk. As an unexpected group of 10 arriving at 2 pm there was a warm welcome to the bar. An excellent choice of food and local drinks. Service was very slick with all 10 orders arriving together in a friendly and very speedy manner. Portions were generous whilst the choice and quality of dishes was most pleasing.
