The Hills Farm
The Hills Farm
The Hills Farm is a bed and breakfast in the village of Leysters, is approximately 7 miles south of Ludlow, 5 miles from Leominster and 4 from Tenbury Wells. As the name implies we are situated on top of the hill and consequently have some fantastic views – up to 40 miles on a clear day!
Parts of our house date back to the 16th century and consequently it has a wealth of misshapen character. Breakfast is served in the dining room and conservatory at individual tables. The large adjoining guest lounge has local information leaflets, guide books and maps available for your use. We are of course happy to offer help and advice on what to do for your days out.
We have three guest rooms, The Tigeen, The Fuggles and The Tallet, all in barn conversions and each with their own front door.
As well as the usual hospitality trays each room also has its own ‘mini kitchen’ comprising a fridge, microwave, cutlery, plates etc plus a small dining table and chairs. So if you don’t fancy going out again in the evening, why not relax ‘at home’ with a light supper of your choice (leaving the washing up for us of course!).
All the rooms have a flat screen TV with Freeview, an alarm radio with ipod dock and a hair dryer.
Free wifi is available in the guest lounge and dining room.
The guest bedrooms are in separate converted barns close to the main house. We have lived here for over 30 years, originally hailing from Wiltshire and County Cork, and do do hope that we can tempt you to visit this lovely part of rural Herefordshire.
