Heritage Open Day

Visit Berrington as we celebrate Heritage Open Day. We have new exhibitions, art installations and plenty of gardens and parkland to explore. What will you discover at Berrington this Heritage Open Day?

Discover the walled garden with internationally renowned artists, Heather and Ivan Morrison’s ‘LOOK! LOOK! LOOK!’ pavilion.

In the mansion you can find our exhibition ‘A Dress Fit for a King’ with ‘Eye am She’ by Lorna J Brown. This is to showcase the original dress of Ann Bangham, wife of Berrington’s original owner, Thomas Harley.

You can also explore the parkland which was ‘Capability’ Brown’s final masterpiece.

Suitability: Children welcome. Dogs on leads are welcome.
Accessibility: No wheelchair access to mansion as a dozen steps at the entrance/exit. 32 steps to upper floor and 54 steps down the servants’ staircase. Lift down to servants’ hall tearoom.
