The Sealed Knot Re-enactment Day

The Sealed Knot has been running for 50 years and so is the oldest re-enactment society in the UK, a registered educational charity, and the single biggest re-enactment society in Europe.

This incredible homage to the 17th century, offers a chance to experience first hand, elements of a nation at war with itself, as well as providing a glimpse of everyday life for the people of this period in time.

The re-enactment day on Hay Castle lawns will include:

– Pike display and talk
– Kids pike drill
– Musket display
– Cannon display
– Wood bodger
– Soldiers tents with costumes to try
– Spinning and craft tent
– Calligraphy and artist tent
– 17th century kitchen tent
– 17th cent fashion talk and show
– And more on the day!!

Tickets can be purchased below but will also be available to purchase on the lawn on the day.

Please note tickets for entrance to Hay Castle can be purchased seperately on arrival – tickets for re-enactment are for the event on the lawn only.
