Did you know the phrase ‘An Englishman’s Home is his Castle’ came about because of government tax attacks on cider-making and liberty in the 18th century? Find out what exactly was happening in the Georgian period which provoked infamous cider riots. New interpretation just for a Heritage Open Day. Free admission to the museum.
