Hereford Christmas Lights Switch On

Hereford will host a spectacular Christmas light’s switch-on display to mark the start of the city’s 2023 festive celebrations.

The FREE event will take place in High Town from 3pm until 5:30pm on Sunday 19th November.

Brought to you by Hereford City Council, Sunshine Radio and Outstanding Education, the lights will be switched on by the Mayor and Father Christmas at 5pm.

This year’s event, hosted by Sunshine Radio presenters will be packed full of festive fun.

• X-Factor winner Matt Terry
• Hereford Soul Choir
• One Vision Talent School
• Hereford’s Finn McGowen

There will also be appearances by the cast of the Courtyard Theatre pantomime Dick Whittington.

The entertainment will be rounded off with the Vengaboyz Experience following the switch on of the lights.

The fun begins from 3pm on Sunday 19th November 2023.
