Quilting weekend is a relaxing and stress-free weekend.

Would you like to improve your quilting skills?

Enjoy a whole weekend of sewing near Hay on Wye with expert tuition. A great way to build on your quilting skills in a relaxed and friendly setting. Come and learn this heritage craft and meet like-minded people.

Quilting is a traditional craft which still has a place in our homes today. During the weekend you will learn a variety of quilting techniques which will be combined to create a lap quilt to take home.

This course is suitable for novice quilters. You will need to bring and be able to use your own sewing machine.

We will be rotary cutting fabrics, trying different piecing techniques, adding pieced borders, layering and machine quilting.

Hay on Wye is located in a beautiful area with plenty of great B&B and a choice of good restaurants.

I am an experienced quilter with enthusiasm, skill, and a flair for teaching others this versatile craft.

Quilting is fun and sociable and a great way to de-stress!
