Ross On Wye Walking Festival

The Ross On Wye Walking Festival is 3 days of guided walks along trails and footpaths to give a varied and interesting taste of the town and the surrounding countryside. We would love to see you and offer 16 diverse walks for all abilities and all interests:

• Incorporating everything from steam trains and forests, caves and hills to alleyways and cream teas
• Geology and bird spotting
• Walks range in length from 3 miles/easy to 9 miles/moderate or 7.5 miles/energetic
• Many include opportunities for picnics or local pubs/food
• Dog-friendly walks available too

All of our festival walks are guided by knowledgeable, experienced local volunteers.

In addition, you can combine these with some of our self-guided pub walks; or stay longer and try some of the stages of the long-distance trails that run through or near to Ross-on-Wye.
