Throughout his career John racked up an impressive 41 albums, 2 Grammy Awards, 3 American Music Awards, 2 Country Music Association Awards, 1 Academy of Country Music and 1 Emmy Award, alongside a staggering NASA Public Service Medal, whilst ‘Rocky Mountain High’ was declared as the official state song for Colorado in 2007.
