Albert’s Shed

When Albert first opened his shed, he had a vision of building not just a high-quality music bar but to be the hub of original music in Shropshire. At Albert’s Shed after only one year, this was achieved, providing a springboard for emerging artists, local heroes and bands from the UK and across the world. We love to put on lots of different types of gigs in Shrewsbury, so when you’re at a Shed you’ll see dance acts, folk, rock, indie, swing, reggae, ska, blues and much more.

Hidden away within the confounds of Albert’s Loft within his Shed, upstairs you’ll find a range of cocktails and premium spirits, along with quality wines, Champagne and prosecco sourced from local merchants Tanners Wines. But we’ll warn you, this isn’t any old Cocktail Bar, we’re Shrewsbury’s most exclusive, open to the public only on certain evenings. It’s like a secret club, and Albert’s invited you around.

Albert likes to do things properly, so not only did he open up a Cocktail Bar in Shrewsbury, but he also sourced some of the tastiest craft beers he could find, tested them and reordered. Don’t be surprised though if the bar menu keeps changing, he likes it that way; always bringing in new brews for you to try.

But it’s not all about the drinks, is it. The Loft has pretty epic views when you’re out on the balcony (which Albert just finished decorating too), not to mention the ultra comfy sofas inside. And as all good hosts should, each week Albert invites his favourite electronic dance music DJs to come and keep you entertained until the wee hours.

Albert now has two exclusive spaces available for private hire (Albert’s Loft within Albert’s Shed and Albert’s Pour House Function Room). Both spaces are ideal for Christmas parties, birthdays, hen do’s and even children’s parties (Albert’s Pour Hour Function Room only).
