Bailey End

Bailey End is a comfortable self catering holiday accommodation for up to 9 guests in five bedrooms. The property is an old street town house which has its origins in the 17th century, but large parts were rebuilt in the 19th century. It has some exposed beams and some original tiled and flagstone floors. It is situated in Bishops Castle, a very small, picturesque market town in the Shropshire hills.

Bailey End offers a spacious living room, with inglenook fireplace containing a powerful wood burning stove, chairs and sofas and a television. A kitchen/dining room, with a fitted kitchen, electric hob and oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, and a fridge/freezer. Five bedrooms: two doubles, one twin, one small double & a single, and one single. Two bathrooms: the upstairs bathroom has a bath, basin and lavatory; the downstairs bathroom has a shower, lavatory and a basin, and also a washer/dryer for clothes.

The town is surrounded by good walking country and is 4 miles from Offa’s Dyke and the Long Mynd. Ludlow and Shrewsbury are within easy distance with the Welsh coast and Snowdonia are approximately 60 miles away.
