Bridge View Guest House
Bridge View Guest House
With unparalleled views of the historic Iron Bridge, the first of its kind in the world, this premier Guest House sits above its own delightful Tea Room, Darby’s 1779, serving food all day. When the Iron Bridge was built in 1779, artists, travellers and even industrial spies flocked to see it. At Bridge View Guest House you can admire the striking Iron work while enjoying an Iron Masters or Continental breakfast.
We offer rooms which are spacious and elegant in style, with pretty paintings and contemporary decor. Free toiletries feature in each en suite bedroom and benefits also include a flat screen TV with DVD player and an IPod docking station.
A short stroll along the River Severn will take you to a range of restaurants and eateries. Ironbridge Gorge Museum can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot, Telford Town Centre with an array of shops is a 10 minute drive away or if you prefer a more original shopping experience Shrewsbury is a 15 to 20 minute drive.
We are fortunate enough to have our own private secure complimentary car park on Waterloo Street to offer our guests, which is only 150 yards away from the accommodation.
