Coalbrookdale Villa
Coalbrookdale Villa
Set in the quiet village of Coalbrookdale, just a mile from the historic Iron bridge, Coalbrookdale Villa can be found. A beautiful Grade II Listed Victorian Gothic style house, built around 1850, originally an Ironmaster’s House and was owned by the Fox-Davies family. Today it is owned and managed by Victoria and Dale (along with their two friendly Newfoundland dogs).
Coalbrookdale Villa aims to provide a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Extravagantly built, as only the Victorians could, the house has many fascinating features and offers plenty of private parking spaces on the drive. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the house and all bedrooms are equipped with flat screen televisions, tea and coffee making facilities (with fresh milk), fridge, complimentary toiletries, bathrobes and hairdryers.
We provide a selection of cereals and pastries along with jams and marmalade. In addition, you can choose from items such as smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or poached eggs and bacon. Please let us know if you have a dietary requirement or a special request and we will try to accommodate.
A warm and comfortable guest lounge is provided for guests to relax and enjoy the beautiful location.
The centre of Ironbridge is only a 10 minute walk away and this is where the world’s first Iron Bridge can be found. The property is well placed for visiting the 10 Ironbridge Gorge museums including, Blists Hill Victorian Town, The Museum of Iron and Jackfield Tile Museum. Telford town centre and train station are approximately 12 minutes away by car.
We can accept a small dog for an additional charge of 10 pounds per stay, but only in certain rooms.
