Darbys 1779
Darbys 1779
Darbys 1779 is a charming tea room where we serve fantastic freshly ground coffee, clotted cream teas, sandwiches, wraps and paninis and hearty all-day breakfasts, all of which can be enjoyed with the best view of the Iron Bridge.
When the Iron Bridge was built in 1779, artists, travellers and even industrial spies flocked to see it. Visitors to the area can also enjoy the many attractions the Ironbridge Gorge has to offer, which can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot; a World Heritage site with many museums to visit where you can learn about the birthplace of the industrial revolution.
Accommodation is available at Bridge View Guest House which is situated above the tea room. Rooms are spacious and elegant in style, with pretty paintings and contemporary decor. Free toiletries feature in each en suite bedroom and benefits also include a flat screen TV with DVD player and an IPod docking station.
We look forward to welcoming you to Darbys Tea Room and Ironbridge!
