Henwick House offers comfortable bed & breakfast en-suite accommodation, with attractively furnished rooms, a short walk from Ludlow’s historic town centre and local amenities.
The double en-suite bedroom has a king size bed and the twin rooms are available as either a twin or super king size bed, there is also a single bedroom and all include free Wi-Fi.
A hearty full English breakfast in the dining room will help get your day off to a great start. Locally sourced ingredients are used wherever possible, and there’s plenty of choice. See our breakfast menu.
In a prime, convenient location, Henwick House is close to the town centre, with its ancient castle, outdoor market, fascinating architecture, famous Michelin listed restaurants, independent shops, friendly pubs, restaurants and cafes with lots of great food.
The railway station is also within easy walking distance, and Ludlow is easy to reach by train from many parts of the UK. If you travel by train or bus, the station is within 10 minutes walk from Henwick House, we will try and collect you, if you inform us with several days notice. There are many local taxi firms, please call if you would like telephone numbers.
Our accommodation offers secure private parking, comfortable and very well presented bedrooms, together with a warm and inviting welcome for all our guests. We have 1 double room, 2 twins and 1 single – all en-suite.
A sun room and outside seating area is available for guests’ use. Well behaved dogs and children are welcome. Henwick House is a non smoking establishment.
Ludlow
Visit Ludlow for lively markets, food fairs, specialty food shops, excellent restaurants, pubs and cafes. A venue for festivals and events every year. The Ludlow Marches Food & Drink Festival is held every September, Ludlow Festival is held in June/July attracting performers from all over the world. In November the Medieval Christmas Fair is held locally.
Shropshire
Visit Shropshire with historic houses and castles with beautiful gardens, the famous Ironbridge, museums and family attractions. Shropshire has many traditional market towns including gourmet Ludlow and the county town of Shrewsbury.
The landscape is geologically unique and creates the special habitats that ensures that Shropshire wildlife is so diverse. All this adds up to making Shropshire great walking country.
