Moorehouse Farm – the perfect escape for you and your horse. Set in the heart of the idyllic Shropshire countryside, we specialise in holidays with your horse and offer exceptional facilities designed with the horse rider in mind.
Equally, you don’t have to be a horse owner to enjoy staying on the farm. Many of our guests are simply looking for a peaceful B&B in the heart of the Shropshire countryside. Whether holidaying with your horse, or just your two-legged family and friends, you will receive the same warm, farmhouse welcome!
We offer a selection of accommodation that caters for all tastes and budgets.
- Our Farmhouse B&B rooms offer homely, comfortable accommodation and a ‘Full English’ (other breakfast options are available!).
- If you prefer the flexibility of self catering, why not stay in our self-contained country cottage complete with spacious lounge, luxury kitchen, double bedroom, new shower room and private outdoor decking.
- Enjoy our self-contained wooden chalet which sleeps up to 4 people and is perfect for a small group or family (and you can always join us in the farmhouse for breakfast!).
- We have ample room on the farm for you to bring your own tent, lorry, caravan, trailer or tourer.
We offer accompanied hacks for you to enjoy the amazing Shropshire countryside in a safe and tranquil environment. When you’ve finished spending quality time in the saddle, you can relax while your horse is equally pampered in our new livery yard.
Moorehouse Farm’s owner, Lynn, is a fully qualified and experienced horse behaviour specialist and can offer one-to-one consultations to help you deal with behavioural issues. Our BHS qualified instructors can offer individual or group coaching on flat work or jumping. Our local farrier is always on hand and our experienced staff can carry out a saddle check to ensure safety and comfort for you and your horse. You can even have your horsebox repaired while you stay! And once your horse is safely tucked up for the night, why not explore the local pubs and restaurants close to the farm. Sound perfect? We hope so.
