Welcome to Sweeney Farm, a family-run, organic dairy farm on the Shropshire-Welsh border.

Come and stay in one of our luxury safari tents in a grass meadow alongside a pond and hosting views across Shropshire. Each safari tent is fully equipped with 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and living/dining area complete with log burning stove. There are three individual lodges available: Pump House Lodge, Mountain Lodge and Breidden Lodge. They are adjacent to one another but are spaced far enough apart to allow privacy amongst guests.

A stay in one of our safari tents will help you escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It can be a time to relax, unwind and enjoy quality time with family and friends in the great outdoors. You can also observe the day-to-day activities on a working dairy farm.

Sweeney Farm is proud of its environmental credentials as it is a carbon zero, organic dairy farm. Renewable energy sources are used to power the farm in the form of solar panels and a wind turbine. In fact, the safari tents are completely powered by solar energy. In addition to the cows, the farm also rears a small flock of sheep and kune kune pigs.
