The Buttercross Tearooms

The Buttercross Tearooms offer homemade soups, sandwiches, daily specials, a towering cake cabinet not to mention our fabulous afternoon teas and high tea.

All of our food is homemade from fresh local produce, that even includes our bread and cakes which are handmade by our very own baker. Therefore, we know exactly what we’re serving you so if you have any queries or requests don’t be afraid to ask.

The tearoom has three different concepts with three distinct café areas.

Downstairs- A Traditional Tearoom, upstairs- A Contemporary Coffee Lounge, and outside- A Continental Street Café.

Families and children are welcome in the the tearoom, we have a limited number of high chairs so please inform us when booking if one will be required. Takeaway also available.
