The Charlton Arms

The Charlton Arms is an independently owned and family run pub. Whether returning from a muddy walk through Whitcliffe common or organising a special romantic supper, you will find exactly what you are looking for with us. Well behaved dogs and children especially welcome!

We carry a wide selection of local draft Ales and a small, carefully designed and eclectic wine list. Our menu of modern British and pub classics feature the best seasonal produce available at the time. We carry great pride in sourcing all our meat in the counties within the Marches.

We have Nine en-suite rooms, many with fantastic views over the river and medieval town of Ludlow.

Ludlow
Visit Ludlow for lively markets, food fairs, specialty food shops, excellent restaurants, pubs and cafes. A venue for festivals and events every year. The Ludlow Marches Food & Drink Festival is held every September, Ludlow Festival is held in June/July attracting performers from all over the world. In November the Medieval Christmas Fair is held locally.

Shropshire
Visit Shropshire with historic houses and castles with beautiful gardens, the famous Ironbridge, museums and family attractions. Shropshire has many traditional market towns including gourmet Ludlow and the county town of Shrewsbury.
