The George and Dragon Inn

Relax, chat, eat, drink and do pub stuff at The George and Dragon Inn – a pub for everyone!  Welcome to your local, where we sell beer, wine, soft drinks and homemade food and can also host all types of parties in our cosy back room.

Real ale from local breweries and beyond. We usually have 5 real ales on draught including our own George & Dragon Amber Ale.  Other regulars include HPA, Abbot Ale, Town Crier & Shropshire Gold with Milds and Stouts being served in the winter months. Wines are from Tanners with a choice for everyone.

We make everything we can and buy from local suppliers. Some of our most popular dishes are from our locals – try Russ’s chilli or Jill’s famous apple pie. Our Sunday lunch is legendary with a choice of roasts, vegetarian and vegan options and up to 6 fresh veg each week on the side.

In our cosy back room, we can cater for up to 50 guests (standing) or 35 (sitting). Birthdays, engagements, christenings and even pizza parties (we use fresh dough and our pizza ovens to make authentic, delicious pizzas).

Dogs are welcome in our front bar and we have a darts board, board games, cards and a piano to help keep you entertained.
