The Griffin Inn

The Griffin Inn is an old, town centre, traditional pub which takes real ale seriously. With a Cosy three roomed layout, the bar having a shelf of interesting books and a back room at a slightly lower level which hosts regular music events. And the Snug really is snug!

With friendly staff and an excellent atmosphere, food is served seven days a week with a beautiful Sunday lunch offering good size portions, guaranteed not to leave you hungry! We can also cater for parties.

The licensee is from the Black Country and sources a variety of quality well kept ales, along with a massive range of Whiskeys and Gins – one of the best in Oswestry.

Note the sculptural installation above the door which is entitled ‘Three Skinny Drinkers’ and was conjured up by a local artist as an original new pub sign.
