Welcome to The Shropshire Golf Centre, Telford’s most popular golf and function venue. Come and enjoy our first class facilities with a choice of two golf courses and whether you’re a seasoned professional or a complete beginner, The Shropshire offers something for all. There are so many different ways to enjoy a game or two of golf – from societies and corporate golf days, to charity events, special packages and golf breaks.

Our 27-hole main course was created in 1992 by the world renowned architect Martin Hawtree, and offers stunning views over the Shropshire countryside. Our 18-hole short course is perfect for those wanting to take the game up or for sharpening their short game. All of the par 3 holes range in yardage and difficulty which is great for all the family to enjoy. Plus if you are short on time, you can play a round in just 2 hours. You can also enjoy our floodlit driving range and well-stocked golf shop.

We offer golf lessons for beginners, juniors, regular golfers and low handicappers.

FootGolf is available to play which is a fun mix of football and golf and it’s for anyone and everyone.

Serving delicious food in a comfy, informal atmosphere, the Café Bar & Grill at The Shropshire is open daily. Whether you are looking for a big hearty breakfast, a light healthy meal, a fun children’s menu, a quick pint or a glass of wine, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

A charming wedding venue, The Shropshire offers delightful surroundings with picturesque views over the rolling Shropshire countryside, whilst providing friendly and professional service and a delicious selection of menus. We can cater for christenings, meetings, wakes and memorials and are a fabulous choice for parties, dinners and lunches, with four function suites to choose from. Our recently refurbished Farmhouse offers a completely self-contained event with separate private bar, dance floor for up to 80 guests seated. Alternatively, our beautiful marquee with private courtyard, bespoke mood lighting and state of the art sound system can hold up to 180 for an evening reception.
