Worcester’s Big Parade Art Trail

Worcester’s Big Parade is a mass participation public event brightening up city streets and public spaces this summer, brought to you by St Richard’s Hospice and Wild in Art.

For eight weeks, Worcester will be brought to life by a parade of beautifully decorated elephant sculptures. Elephants – both big and small – forming a stunning, free art trail through the city’s streets and open spaces, bringing together the community for one unforgettable event from 12 July to 5 September.

Each large sculpture is sponsored by a business and individually designed by an artist, either well-known or just starting out, from Worcestershire or further afield, whilst our elephant calves have been designed and decorated by local schools and community groups.

Following the trail, there will be the chance to say a final ‘goodbye’ at a Farewell Event, before each large elephant is auctioned to raise funds for St Richard’s Hospice.
