One of the most elegant country house hotels in the Cotswolds, Buckland Manor is part of the AA Hotel Group of the Year 2017-18 and is tucked away in a tranquil corner of the village of Buckland, next to the old village church. Set in 10 acres of grounds, which blend seamlessly into the village, the beautiful manor house is unmarked by the passing of time; it is an idyllic setting from which to enjoy an exceptionally warm welcome, tantalising menus lovingly crafted from the ‘market garden of England’ and breath-taking Cotswold scenery.

We kindly advise that Buckland Manor offers quality time for family and friends, where staying and dining is a more adult affair, so we ask that children are aged ten years and over.

Head Chef, William Guthrie and his team of talented chefs work tirelessly to create mouth-watering menus that are English at their core and stay true to location, whilst remaining innovative and modern.

Menus feature fresh local produce from the neighbouring Vale of Evesham, affectionately known as the market garden of England. Fresh herbs are grown in the Manor’s own grounds and, as you would expect in a house of this heritage, there is a magnificent wine cellar.

Enjoy a sumptuous home-made afternoon tea of finger sandwiches, fruit and plain scones with clotted cream and seasonal preserve, and a selection of delicious cakes.

From a kitchen that has the privilege of having the ‘market garden of England’ – the Vale of Evesham – on its doorstep, as well as a herb garden in the grounds, the food at Buckland Manor represents a love of fresh, seasonal and local produce.

Both the hotel’s main restaurant and private dining room have a typical country house hotel character and atmosphere – an ideal venue for that special, private dining occasion.

Up to 44 guests may be seated at round tables in the dining room, or up to 14 guests may be seated at a long table in the Morning Room.

The Morning Room is a charming intimate room, fully licensed for civil ceremonies and perfect for up to 14 guests. It is a beautiful light room, facing the rear landscaped gardens with an open fireplace.
