Evesham Vale Light Railway
Evesham Vale Light Railway offers a delightful ride by steam train for all the family, showcasing stunning views across the Vale of Evesham overlooking the Cotswold Hills.
The railway, situated at The Valley operates during weekends and school holidays.
Owned and operated by Adrian & Sandra Corke with help from a group of enthusiastic volunteers, the Evesham Vale Light Railway passes through cuttings, countryside and a tunnel with steam trains departing from Twyford station every thirty minutes.
Train Ride
The EVLR is normally steam hauled and passes some of the old apple orchards to Evesham Vale Station, stopping briefly you can break your journey here, to enjoy some of the ativities below, returning on a later train.
Evesham Vale Station Picnic Area
There are picnic benches and a large grass area, where you can enjoy a picnic overlooking some of the best scenery the Vale of Evesham has to offer.
Childrens Play Fort
The play fort is located on the picnic area.
Countryside Walks
From Evesham Vale Station there are walks to the river Avon, maps are available from the guard on the train.
