Malvern Town Walks

Always entertaining and informative, on an Official Malvern Town Walking Tour you’ll hear tales of the famous patients and infamous scandals of the 19th Century Water Cure, the ‘boffins’ who played such an important part in World War II, the life and times of Sir Edward Elgar (local resident and celebrity cyclist), the origins of the ancient Priory, the town’s connections with Narnia and The Lord of the Rings – and much, much more.

Tours last approx. 90 minutes and start at the Tourist Information Centre, Lyttelton Well, Church Street, Great Malvern at 10.30 a.m. on Mondays and Saturdays. The 2023 season starts on 1st April and runs until 30th September. Ticket prices are held at just £5 each (children under 14, free), and bookings can be made via the TIC (in person or by phone: 01684 892289), or online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/malvern-civic-society Advance reservation is recommended.

Unfortunately, due to the hilly nature of the town, the walks are not suitable for those with mobility issues.

The Official Malvern Town Walking Tours are organised by the Malvern Civic Society. All guides are volunteers and tours are subject to guide availability.
