Maneki Ramen
Maneki Ramen
We are a Tokyo inspired ramen shop, serving modern interpretations of Japanese noodle bowls and snacks, in a repurposed railway arch.
“My work with A Rule of Tum started in Burger Shop Worcester. I used to enjoy making simple Japanese dishes for the staff.
After many hours of writing a menu based upon my memories and experiences living and working in Asia, it felt right to open a restaurant where the food was from the cuisine I enjoyed the most, both to cook and eat. We are constantly trying to improve our flavours and methods to achieve this via research and testing new dishes. I’m also very fortunate that the whole team at Maneki Ramen is also striving for perfection.
Maneki Ramen is perfect for those looking to try something a little different, a casual style of food that we try to elevate and interpret in new and modern ways. In my opinion, there is nothing better than a steaming bowl of ramen, some Japanese fried chicken and a cold beer…luckily we do all three!”
– Pete Dovaston – Head Chef & Creator of Maneki Ramen
We can cater for a variety of dietary requirements, our menu features many gluten-free and vegan dishes, please let us know of any allergies when you place your order.
We would like to thank everyone who’s been to experience the tasting menu since we opened in July. This concept showcases Head Chef Pete’s incredible skill as well as allowing people a chance to sit and watch him in action from the pass. Starting next year we will be changing the tasting menu setup and moving to offer it on a single day of the month throughout the restaurant space.
You’ll be able to dine in the restaurant for the standard 8-course tasting menu or sit at the chef’s table where you’ll be treated to an extra course and get a front-row seat to watch Head Chef Pete in action.
