At Ye Olde Anchor Inn we are a traditional “Black & White”, timber framed Pub set in the historical riverside town of Upton Upon Severn, parts of the pubs building have been on this site since circa 1601.
We serve excellent ales, ciders, and lagers and have a full wine list. Great food is served from Wednesday to Sunday lunchtimes with a wide range of delicious meal options including light bites, as well as freshly filled ciabattas and sandwiches.
We host many events in the town from live sports to themed evenings.
We offer ‘The Oak Room’ for private hire functions including corporate events or special occasions, it is ideal for more private events as well.

Disappointing
Visited here with family. The Lasagne was “nice” but the so called garlic bread was abysmal. Half a slice of brown bread, barely cooked, soggy and tasteless. The apple crumble was just dumped on a dish, an absolute mess and the apple was unbearably sour.
The waitress was perfect but l won’t ever go back there.
Fabulous food and hospitality pub
We had a Sunday lunch with soup to start with, it was excellent, all staff very friendly especially James who made everyone welcome.
