Easter Egg Hunt At Hidcote

Join The Secret Garden’s Mary Lennox and her friends, Ben, Martha, Dicken, Colin and their guide a friendly garden robin, as you make your way along the trail and find nature-inspired activities for the whole family.

When: The trail takes place between 23 March and 7 April, from 10am to 5pm, with last entry at 4pm, so come along and explore the beautiful garden of Hidcote.

What’s included: Prices are £3 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, pencil, bunny ears and choice of dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg, or flower seeds.

*Suitable for people with milk, egg, gluten, peanut and tree nut allergies.

Pay for your trail at the Visitor Reception on arrival, and then head into the Courtyard to collect your trail pack.

The trail: 10 year old Mary has been sent to live at her Uncle’s estate. Bored with nothing to do, Mary began to explore the large grounds of the house, while walking outside one day, with the help of a friendly garden robin, Mary discovered a hidden garden that has been locked away and neglected.

Mary, Martha, Dicken, Colin and Ben have decided to bring the secret garden back to life so that they can enjoy it and have somewhere to play. But they need your help… use the trail map to find and complete the 10 activities in the garden. Be sure to keep an eye out for the robin who will let you know what to do at each station.

Booking is not required for the trail, but it is recommended to reserve your parking to visit Hidcote.
