Cheltenham Music Festival was launched in 1945 and to this day proudly celebrates our love of classical music. This rich and diverse programme takes advantage of the beautiful Cotswolds surroundings to create a magical musical tour, thats a sensorial masterpiece, featuring the worlds best classical talent.

We celebrate the very best contemporary composition alongside a feast of popular classics.

Our impressive past performers have included Nicola Benedetti, Steven Isserlis, Alfie Boe, Milos and Evelyn Glennie. From hands-on family concerts, to world premieres by the world’s finest performers – Cheltenham Music Festival promises 12 days of sublime and surprising musical adventures for all ages.

We introduce music to hundreds of pupils with our Music for Schools programmes with the aim to engage a whole new generation with the power of music.
